Sonogram

Leah went to get a sonogram today at the recommendation of her doctor because she's been having cramps a lot and Leah was worried the egg implanted in the wrong place.

The results were good! No problems with the baby, but we found Leah is only about 5 weeks pregnant, which blows our mind. The baby was conceived only 3 weeks! Only bad part of the experience was that the radiologist was a jerk. He came in after viewing the images and said the baby is nearly invisible this early and asked why we even came. He didn't even have a lab coat on.

All in all we are relieved that everything is ok, even if its early.

Virginia Tech

Leah's parents have already started buying our baby VT stuff. They gave us this mini mug today at church. Leah was happy, it was filled with Reese's candy, yum.

1st doctors appt

We visited Dr. Yan today. She is a nice Chinese doctor, no frills. "Pregnancy is a good thing, don't worry, do everything normal. Get rid of your cats. No skiing." I dunno about the cats thing...we'll have to think about that.

She said the expected due date is October 9th, 2008!

The start of our journey

Leah has been feeling weird the last week and when she missed her period she started to wonder. We picked up a home pregnancy test last week and tried it right away and it came up normal to our shock, we figured she was pregnant. The instructions say it works best in the morning however...

Fast forward a couple days and she still hadn't had it so she tried again Monday morning and look what happened (I say we should keep it, but Leah thinks its gross since she peed on it)
