I love Subway Cookies

Especially... the chocolate chip and double chocolate chip. My kind friend Kirk taught me that they will microwave them for you if you ask.

Symptoms and Thoughts

I don't really spend much time writing about symptoms and feelings...mostly because everything has been super easy!! Yesterday though, we went to Baltimore to see the Body Worlds exhibit ( we highly recommend it) and it was so hot and humid that my fingers started to swell. I couldn't get my ring off! Since the first 5 months we so easy, I thought maybe I'd scoot by to month nine with just a big belly and nothing else. Guess not!

This week is week 24, which is the beginning of Month 6! My stomach is really pooching out now, and at the Body World's exhibit, we saw a little 25 week old fetus - it was HUGE!! I could have sworn that my little baby was like the size of a kiwi bouncing around inside of me but when I saw the exhibit, I realized the baby is actually the size of a baby doll already! Its just rolled up inside me. Amazing.

God has been realllly good about slowing showing me and teaching me things to ready my mind to become a mom. At first, I was really in denial... just keep doing what you're doing, maybe it will be really easy.... but then I started folding some of the little baby clothes and I got excited! And then this past weekend I saw the little baby exhibit and realized how my little guy is growing. Next weekend, we're going to stay with Dillon's cousins who have a 3.5 month old. More to learn!

All that said, I have eaten chocolate chip cookies everyday for the past week. I love them.

Snoogle

Dad was nice enough to get me the preggy pillow from Babies r Us. I have to say, it was very comfy! The neck support isn't as firm as my normal pillow though. Should I take it when I travel? Not sure yet...the cats think its interesting though!

Bust out the whale horn

I'm not sure what happened this weekend, but my belly really popped out. If I continue to grow at this rate, who knows what will happen. I'm at the point where I have to launch myself out of bed and get out of my chairs sideways. Crumbs fall while I am eating and they land on my belly. I have to remember to check it every once and awhile!!

Multi-Tasking

Sadly, I have lost a key survival skill over the past few weeks. I cannot walk and use my cell phone at the same time! I can talk, but I can't type text messages or emails and walk. I start to slow...then get slower..then I stop walking and Dillon is like 100 steps ahead of me. Guess I should save it for when I'm sitting!!
